Thomas Frank confirms serious injuries for James Maddison in favor of the pre-season.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank admitted that James Maddison's injury in the 1-1 draw on Sunday with Newcastle United “Looks Bad” after the midfielder was forced into visible pain at the end of the match.
The 28 -year -old playmaker, who only recently returned in great shape, has tightened his opponent's without contact with the last stages of the match.
The medical staff quickly called for a stretcher, and the English international was withdrawn from the field while the teammates concerned, including the son Heung-Min, gathered.
Sound, playing in what was his farewell match for the club, was obviously emotional while Maddison started on a stretcher.
Frank later revealed that the first signs suggested a serious problem with the same knee that had prevented Maddison from leaving the Europa League final last season against Manchester United.
“Sometimes, in life and football, things can be both beautiful and brutal,” said Frank.
“This is what we had today. It seems that with Madders a bad injury, then on the other side of the incredible scenes for his son of his teammates and the respect of Newcastle players.
“We are almost sure that it was the same knee that he previously injured.”
Before the injury overshadowed the procedure, the friendly match in Seoul was an entertaining competition. Tottenham flew off the blocks and took the lead in the fourth minute when Brennan Johnson struck from afar, his weak effort leaving the Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope without any chance.
Eddie Howe's team became the match and was rewarded just before the interval.
Anthony Gordon found space on the left and square the ball at Harvey Barnes, who coldly guided his finish in the lower corner to level the scoring.
The second half saw the two managers carrying out a burst of changes while the pre-season priorities moved to the physical form and the rotation of the squad.
The flow of the game was disrupted by the substitutions and later by the injury of Maddison, who threw a shadow in the last minutes.
The draw was finally of secondary importance for Tottenham, with all the eyes now on the extent of Maddison's reverse and if it could exclude him for a prolonged spell at the start of the season.
