Thousands head to Fan Expo Boston to “geek out” and meet celebrity guests
Thousands of people dressed as Jedi knights, superheroes and even the pope went to Expo's Boston's This weekend at the Thomas Menino Convention and Exhicketion Center.
“It's a lot of people who come, enjoy their time, everyone loves to go out in their costumes and goods. It is a great time, which was dressed as Fiona from Shrek.
The annual pop culture event brought together, cartoon, Anime, sci-fi and gaming, fill the halls with the self-proclaimed geeks. From Jedi Knights to video game packages such as Mario and Luigi, was the creativity at full view.
“Are you coming here on the red line, I certainly got a lot of appearance, that is not surprising, because when do you ever see the pope on the red line?” said Derek, who donates a pope costume, he bought on Amazon.
Fan Expo's Atmosphere attacks each to every cheles, whether visitors hardcore Superfans hardly hard or just there to people watch.
“It's great, to see all costumes, and my costume, but what people show that people in their self-made cabbage, is incredibly cool to see,” Star Wars Superfan Matt.

Saturday's lineup was great names from the Star Wars universe, including Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen. Massachusetts Native John Cena also made an appearance.
Bee, an attendees dressed as rogue out of “X-Men,” mentioned from expo is something that they do each year.
“I love Expo, I go every year I went here since I started that I have always started and was always fantastic. The energy is fantastic. I love Expo,” she said. The convention continues through Sunday with celebrity of celebrity, Photo ops and hundreds of exhibitors.
