Donnarumma should leave PSG
The goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma seems ready to leave the winners of the Champions League, Paris St-Germain, after being excluded from the team for the Super Cup against Tottenham.
The 26 -year -old has been immense for PSG and Italy in recent years, but has not been included by Manager Luis Enrique.
PSG signed the French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier on Saturday, fueling speculation about the future of Donnarumma, and with a year remaining on his contract, the Italian should now move on.
“Unfortunately, someone decided that I could no longer be part of the group and contribute to the team's success,” Donnarumma published on Tuesday on social networks.
“I am disappointed and discouraged.”
“These are always difficult decisions to make. I can't only say good things about Gianluigi Donnarumma,” said journalists.
“He is one of the best players in his position, without a doubt. He is even better as a person, but we were looking for a different guardian profile.
“Keeping in mind the level of Gianluigi Donnarumma and everything he has given to the club, of course, we understand the situation, but my goal is to improve the team and I tried to do it in the best possible way.”
