Wayne Rooney dates back to the criticism of “work ethics” of the legend of the NFL Tom Brady

The unexpected quarrel of Wayne Rooney and Tom Brady took a fresh public turn.
The spat dates back to a comment made by Brady, owner of a minority in Birmingham City, about Rooney, the former head coach of the club, in the Amazon Prime documentary Built in Birmingham: Brady & The Blues.
“I am a little worried about the work ethics of our head coach”, ” Brady said After a visit to the club's training field in November 2023. “I mean, I don't know, I don't have excellent instincts on this subject.”
Rooney, who was dismissed by Birmingham in January 2024 after only 83 days of responsibility, now retaliated to Brady in his new podcast, The Wayne Rooney Showwhich is broadcast twice a week on BBC Sounds, YouTube and BBC Iplayer.

Reflecting on Brady's remarks, Rooney said He was “really disappointed by the commentary”.
“I think Tom has entered once, which was the day before a match where the days are a little lighter anyway, and I don't think he really understands football,” said the former captain of England.
He added: “Football is not the NFL – the NFL works for three months a year. Players also need rest, so I think it is very unfair, the way it came out and described this.”
Your move, Tom.
