What matches could the 49ers are missing with an injury to the toes?

The 49ers of San Francisco played only one match of the 2025 NFL season, and they are already dealing with significant injury problems.

The Dramatic Victory of 17-13 of San Francisco on the Seattle Seahawks was a pyrrhic, while George Kittle underwent an injury to the hamstrings who will see him miss four weeks after his being placed on the injured reserve.

Losing Kittle was a massive blow in itself, but the worst news came this week concerning the quarter-Arrière Brock Purdy, which is would have been ready to miss two to five weeks with Turf ToeA sprain at the base of the big toe ligaments.

The 49ers should now turn to the safeguarding of Mac Jones during week 2, with the date of the Return of Purdy, because San Francisco aims to avoid falling into a hole which quickly reduces the hope of returning to the playoffs.

Jones is a quarter of a quarter that many consider a perfect adjustment for the offensive system of head coach Kyle Shanahan. On the other side of the ball, the cardinals have defensive talent to make it a long afternoon for Mac Jones if Purdy is indeed missing the opening of the house of San Francisco in Levi's Stadium.

Week 4: against Jacksonville Jaguars

If Purdy returns for this match, the 49ers should prevail.

The 49ers dominated recent games with the Jaguars, crushing them more recently on the road en route to an appearance in the Super Bowl 58 in the 2023 season.

But a purely absence would make a meeting with Trevor Lawrence, for whom Jones was the replacement last year, much more difficult.

The jags have a net offensive spirit in the head coach of Liam Coen who hopes to provoke the Elite level quarter-back game from the old number one Lawrence choice, and who are equipped with important young talents on the offensive side of the ball.

There is also the account of the revenge game in play here, with the former defensive platform of San Francisco Arik Armstead aimed at paying the 49ers for a separation company with him last year following a contractual dispute.

Week 5: in Los Angeles Rams

After the Jaguars match, the 49ers face a short week as they travel south to face their rivals in the state on Thursday evening.

It has become the standard for fans of the 49ers to make the Sofi stadium for this game, with the Maison des Rams to be known as “Levi's South” by fans of San Francisco.

But the 49ers saw their domination of this rivalry interrupted last season while the Rams swept the series, winning at home with a dramatic return to the fourth quarter. If Purdy is still not available, it will be very difficult to see the Niners endowed in what will be the last Kittle match on the sidelines.

Week 6: in Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The advantage of playing on a short week is prolonged rest before the next match, and the 49ers hope that it will play a role in them recording another victory in Tampa, after having crossed a thriller against Baker Mayfield and Co. last season.

Tampa Bay, however, has a loaded offense and a defense offering talents at all levels. The cross-country trip would be extremely difficult even with Purdy back in the fray. To face the Bucs on the road with Jones at a quarter would be a recipe for a miserable trip.
