Hollywood's publicist has the Public List of Hollywood Shumed the sad news in a statement that read:
“Robert Redford died on September 16, 2025, at his house on Sundance in the mountains of Uth-the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved.
“He will miss very much. The family asks privacy.”
On this stage, the cause of death does not yet reveal public.
But tribute have inflammation; Barbra Streisand – Who played with Robert in Ikonicaal 1973 movie The way we were – TAKE TO Instagram and wrote:
“Bob was charismatic, intelligent, intensive, always interesting – and one of the most beautiful actors … He was one of a kind and I am so thankful to work with him.”

“One of the lions is over. Rest in peace my beautiful friend,” read the statement of meryl.

Robert began his career on the stage and television in the late 1950s before breaking in the movie Barefoot in the park and rise to stardom in 1969 movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance child.
By the 1970s, with hits like The Sting and All the president's menHe became one of Hollywood's ultimate herdthrob; The gold-rent that was laid man of his era.
In later years, Robert Fit-directed, Robert and activism, found the Sundance institute to support independent film.
He won an Academy Award for Best Director for the 1980's film Ordinary people and later received an honor Oscar for the contributions to cinema.
