“Bonny cooked him in the summer league”

Fans are delighted to see how Dallas Mavericks beginner Cooper Flagg will happen in the NBA. According to an ESPN ranking, experts think he has a lot of promises and gave him a better ranking than more experienced players.
Each year, ESPN and other publications publish rankings for most players in the League. Experienced players are generally placed above than those who have not played a single match.
However, Flagg was classified n ° 52 in the ESPN survey of the best 100 players this year. The recruit of the Mavericks was classified higher than Myles Turner, Paul George and Austin Reaves.

Cooper Flagg is the favorite to win the Roty Award
There is a lot of media threshing surrounding Cooper Flagg before his first season in the NBA. With the way he performed in Duke, there are a lot of expectations for him to dominate his first year with the Mavericks.
Tim Bontemp d'ESPN had an investigation with 20 coaches, scouts and executives from the League. The survey asked questions about the favorite to win the recruit prize for 2026, as well as predictions for the winners of the coming season.
Surprisingly, Cooper Flagg had 19 votes to win the prize for the recruit of the year. His university teammate, Kon Knueppel, had a vote in the survey.
“Unsurprisingly, Flagg has moved away from the field as one of the most awaited perspectives to come in the NBA of recent memory, perhaps tracing only Wembanyama in this category,” wrote Bontemps on Monday.
An assistant coach who voted for KNUPPEL said that his reason is that the recruit should have more ball with the Charlotte HORNETS, allowing him to put better figures than FLAGG.
