Karrueche Tran shows up to support Deion Sanders in hospital as Colorado HC undergoes intense leg procedure
Colorado coach Deion Sanders couldn't lead the Buffaloes past the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 6, losing 35-21 to bring his team back to 2-4 on the season. During his post-match press conference, Coach Prime, who battled health issues since his tenure at Jackson State, revealed that he was battling more blood clots in his legs and did not wear shoes during the game due to pain.
Sanders, who had two toes amputated on his left foot three years ago, underwent surgery Tuesday to remove clots from his foot. Popular actress Karrueche Tran was photographed at Sander's bedside before the operation. In the clip posted by ESPN on Instagram, the actress was seen supporting Sanders as he underwent surgery and tenderly rubbing his arm.
Tran was also present at Deion Sanders' bedside in May when he underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his bladder. Tuesday's procedure was the 16th surgery performed on the Buffs coach.

After the match against the Horned Frogs, the charismatic Deion Sanders revealed that he hopes to be back coaching his team the day after surgery and will be on the sidelines for the Buffs' Week 7 clash against the Iowa State Cyclones.
“Everything will be fine. Prayerfully, I'll be back tomorrow because I won't miss practice. I don't plan on doing that. I'm looking forward to overcoming this obstacle.” » said Deion Sanders. “It has nothing to do with me working at the level I’m trying to compete at.”
Deion Sanders details his health struggles
Following his surgery Tuesday, Deion Sanders conducted an interview with ABC's Michael Strahan on “Good Morning America” during which he detailed his health struggles.
“Now I have different battles. I'm not just fighting the football team in front of me. I'm fighting pee every night. Thank God I depend on Depends,” Sanders said.
“I mean, even getting up every day, I have eight toes. I mean, I'm in pain. Like, when I play a game, I have to wear a certain type of shoe, socks to make sure my feet don't go crazy in the fourth quarter.”
In recent years, Coach Prime's health problems surfaced, which forced him to miss a Pac-12 media day in 2023 after a procedure to remove a blood clot from his right leg and straighten his toes.
Coach Prime also spent time away from Colorado during the preseason while he underwent a procedure that reconfigured his intestines to act as his bladder after a tumor was removed from his bladder.
