Isi Fitikefu faces undefeated Dzhabir Dzhabrailov in explosive welterweight MMA tiff

ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video is starting to take shape after the addition of an intriguing welterweight MMA clash.

Tongan-Australian powerhouse Isi 'Doxz' Fitikefu will look to end Turkish finalist Dzhabir Dzhabrailov's unbeaten streak on December 5 at the famous Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

However, he dropped a split decision to Ruslan Emilbek Uulu in his promotional debut. Revitalized by this setback, Fitikefu came back strong with a winning $50,000 submission against Valmir Da Silva.

This was followed by another huge victory against “The Japanese Beast” Hiroyuki Tetsuka at ONE 168: Denver.

If he can extend his active win streak to three, “Doxz” could very well emerge as a legitimate contender for Christian Lee's welterweight crown.

But Dzhabrailov presents a unique and dangerous challenge. The 20-year-old Turkish phenom went a perfect 6-0, made even more impressive by his fearsome 100 percent success rate.

His three victories in the land of martial arts against Eduardo Freitas, Khusan Urakov and, most recently, Nicolas Vigna at ONE Fight Night 32 last June, all ended in less than two minutes.

We'll soon see how Fitikefu's patient approach fares against Dzhabrailov's explosive strikes and fearless aggression.
