Gabby Thomas has already been spotted at Athlos NYC, Icahn Stadium and Times Square this year. The Olympic sprint champion also revealed her admiration for Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of the all-female athletics competition, as she mentioned,

“Well, I told him that one of my criticisms of the sport is that we don't see it. You know, we go to the Olympics and then all of a sudden we kind of disappear for four years and no one sees us. So how can we increase access? How can we make the sport interesting for a fan base to follow?”

Gabby Thomas was last seen in action at the USATF Championships this year. She was forced to withdraw from the World Championships in Tokyo due to recurring injuries.

“It's really amazing. It's really beautiful to see this all come to life and come true. It's like making me emotional. It's for all of us. For athletes by athletes, like we did, and I'm so proud, and I'm just so proud. I'm so proud to be a track and field athlete, I'm so proud to be a female athlete, like we did it, we're in Times Square to make it happen. We fight for what we deserve and make this a better sport. “
