'We need to bring our fans back,' says Nuno

West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo says the Hammers must “bring our fans back” after a sparsely populated London stadium booed them against Brentford.
Goals in each half from Igor Thiago and Mathias Jensen gave the Bees a victory that could and should have been by a bigger margin.
Thiago saw a second goal ruled out for offside as Brentford dominated and West Ham lost a fifth consecutive home game for the second time in their history.
Nuno said: “It was hard. Not just for me. It was hard for our fans, for our players, for everyone.
“The first 15 minutes everything went well and the team was organized and combined well. After that we lost our composure.
“Credit to Brentford, a physical team who put us in difficulty. The touches, the corners and the monentum of the game have changed.
“Every day we learn. Every moment. We don't go to sleep.
“It's a challenge for all of us. It's up to us to change the momentum and bring our fans back to support us. Win our individual duels. In four days we need a big improvement.”
The Hammers, 19th in the table with one win so far, face Leeds on Friday night.
