3 moments that generated buzz in AUS vs IND 2025 4th T20I ft. Shivam Dube

A superb bowling display propelled Team India to a 48-run victory over Australia at Carrara Oval, Queensland, on Thursday, November 6, in the fourth T20I. The Men in Blue now lead the five-match series 2-1.

After being put into bat first, India finished with 167/8 after 20 overs. Shubman Gill top-scored with a knock of 46 runs off 39 balls. Abhishek Sharma (28 off 21), Shivam Dube (22 off 18) and Axar Patel (21* off 11) contributed with handy cameos.

Pacer Nathan Ellis was the pick of the bowlers, posting figures of 4-0-21-3. Leg turner Adam Zampa also took three wickets, while conceding 45 runs from his four overs.

In response to India's total, the hosts were bowled out for just 119 in 18.2 overs. They lost wickets in quick succession, which made things difficult for them. Openers Mitchell Swamp (30 of 24) and Matthew Short (25 of 19) were the only batters to cross the 20-run mark in the inning.

Washington Sundar took three wickets, while Axar Patel and Shivam Dube claimed two scalps each. Axar was voted Player of the Match for his brilliant all-round performance.

#1 Tim David performs strange celebration after taking catch from Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav got off to an impressive start but failed to convert it into a big score. The Indian skipper perished on the first ball of the 16th over. He attempted a big shot off the bowling of Xavier Bartlett, but failed to get enough distance.

The ball went to Tim David at deep square leg. He almost dropped the ball, but the ball ended up sticking to his fingertips. Interestingly, he celebrated his firing with a bizarre reaction.

#2 Shivam Dube hits a huge six after a message from the Indian dressing room

Shivam Dube has been promoted to the third spot in the Indian batting order for the clash. During the 11th over, Rinku Singh sprinted onto the field with drinks and conveyed a message from the dressing room to Dube and Shubman Gill.

The left-hander clearly understood the plan as he rolled a huge six immediately after the message. He sent a full delivery from Adam Zampa clearing the fence for a maximum.

#3 Varun Chakaravarthy cleans Glenn Maxwell with a clever google

Varun Chakaravarthy once again got the better of Glenn Maxwell, taking his wicket for the sixth time in nine T20 innings. The Australian batter failed to deliver an impactful performance for his team.

He scored just two runs from four balls before falling to Chakaravarthy. The mystery spinner threw a google on the last ball of the 15th over. Maxwell made space and looked to play offside.

However, he failed to make any connection and the ball ended up hitting the top of off stump.

The fifth and final T20I of the series will be played in Brisbane on Saturday, November 8.
