Last Epoch Orobyss Expansion: Everything We Know So Far

The next Last Epoch expansion, Orobyss has finally been announced, and while it's currently causing some controversy, there's no doubt that fans are excited about this reveal. The controversy comes from the fact that although we know the expansion will be free, there will almost certainly be paid DLC in the form of Paradoxical courses.

The sad reality is that there just isn't a lot of information out there about Orobyss not yet, and making this information about the new classes the main thing to know is really disappointing. There are some tidbits of information, however, and we've put them together here for you.

Everything we know about the Last Epoch Orobyss expansion

Orobyss will be Last Epoch's first major expansion, and the developers have confirmed that it is indeed not a season. Season 4 will arrive later. Orobyss looks more like Diablo 4 Ship of Hatein that it is a full season that expands the gameplay and content significantly.

This is perhaps the main reason why there just isn't much information on Orobyssthis is because it will only be available after Seasons 4 and 5 are launched. With Season 4 scheduled for early 2026, it's unlikely we'll see Last Epoch Orobyss until late 2026, or maybe even 2027.

Considering the name of the extension is Orobyssit will almost certainly revolve around the mysterious Void entity. It's a name whispered and feared in the world of Last Epoch, and so on. Ship of Hate again, it's likely that Orobyss himself will play a major role in the upcoming storyline.

Another piece of information is that Last Epoch Orobyss will be free for current owners of the game. They didn't give a date, but it's likely that as long as players pick up the game before the expansion launches, they'll get Orobyss for free.

Finally, we know that when Orobyss launches, the PlayStation 5 version of the game will be released on the same day, so we have official confirmation of a console release. We just don't know the exact launch date for the expansion yet, but when it does, PS5 owners will be able to participate on that day.
