James Tobin and wife Farrah announce arrival of first baby
James Tobin and his wife Farrah have had their first child!
The TV presenter fittingly announced the happy news via a sweet Instagram post of the new addition, revealing the name and gender.
“Our little girl, Tilda Tobin ❤️” he captioned the post.
James first announced that he and Farrah were expecting in July when he appeared Weekend Sunrise but not to deliver the weather…
Instead he sat on the couch with hosts Monique Wright and David Woiwod and said:
“I wanted to tell you personally and I wanted to tell our viewers personally; I've kept this a secret for so long now and I wanted to come in and tell you that Farrah and I are having a baby.”
Monique and David then clapped and cheered.
James went on to reveal that Farrah has been pregnant for a while and that they are currently “halfway through” the pregnancy.
He also added that “she's doing really well” and watched as he announced the news of her home.
Immediately after his appearance on Weekend SunriseJames accepted Instagram to further announce the news in a joint post with Farrah.
“A bit of news from us… We are excited for Baby Tobin's arrival in November,” the caption said.
James and Farrah started dating in 2021 and got engaged in October 2023.
A year later, in October 2024, the two tied the knot.
Not too much is known about Farrah – unlike her husband, she stays out of the limelight.
With that said, James publicly shared the following about her when they got engaged:
“For those who don't know Farrah, she is a ray of sunshine in this world.
“She's brilliant and beautiful, funny and smart, a kind heart who saves lives and runs ultramarathons in her spare time.”
He also shared that she has completed a “fellowship in interventional cardiology,” which means Farrah will have to work as a cardiologist.
