Jesinta and Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin welcome third child
Australian model Jesinta Franklin and her AFL legend husband Lance “Buddy” Franklin have celebrated the arrival of their third baby.
Jesinta34, shared the happy news by posting a heartwarming Instagram carousel, including a photo of the newborn. “My heart feels like it could burst,” she wrote.
She also posted a series of Instagram stories of her and Buddy leaving the hospital with their little one.
They have yet to share the baby's name and gender.
The couple's new addition joins their older children, Tallulah, 5, and Rocky, 4, rounding out their family of five.
Jesinta and Lance had first revealed the pregnancy in June, describing it as “very unexpected” after previously thinking they were done with two children.
“Really struggling to get pregnant with Tullulah, and then Rocky and this one to come just very unexpectedly is a true blessing,” Jesinta told Sarrah Le Marquand on Stellar's Something to talk about podcast.
She added: “Bud always has this thing, the more the merrier for him. So if I could go on, we'd begate-off.
Jesinta was also honest about the struggle she experienced during her third pregnancy. She revealed to 7News that she was quite sick during the first trimester. “I spent about 10 weeks on the couch and that was pretty hard,” Jesinta said.
“I'm so thankful and grateful, but it's nice to come out the other side.”
Jesinta and Buddy first met in 2012 after the AFL star reached out to the former Miss Australia through mutual friends. They married in an intimate Blue Mountains ceremony in 2016.
“I felt a shift in our relationship,” Jesinta told The West Australian after he got married.
“I think it's a deep love and support and respect for each other. It's the two of us now, it's Bud and I, we're a team.”
