Twitch faces backlash for unbanning Nina Lin again

Controversial Twitch streamer Nina Lin has been reinstated to the platform following a series of bans and ban lifts dating back to late October 2025. The most recent suspension followed allegations of theft while the streamer was live on Target. This suspension would have been permanent, causing many people online to rejoice, believing that Lin had finally received a proper judgment.

That being said, on December 25, 2025, Nina Lin's Twitch account “NinaDaddyIsBack” came back online, and netizens on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit criticized Twitch for allowing Lin's suspension to be lifted:

“I really don't understand this. She's broken the law repeatedly, shows no regret or remorse, and she's already no longer banned?” u/Treewithatea.

“Twitch really wants to be as shitty as Kick,” said you/Saiirayn.

u/Empty-Discount5936 suggested that the Amazon-owned company change its current CEO, Dan Clancy:

“This company needs a new CEO.”

Other users have mentioned Nina Lin's suspected cases of theft and I wondered why she is still on the platform:

“I really don't know why she's getting so much leniency. She's just an obnoxious piece of shit streamer who streamed her committing theft multiple times,” said you/Karahx.

After her ban was lifted on Christmas Day, Lin took to her Instagram account, @n.nina666, and spoke about her reinstatement.

Accompanied by a series of laughing emojis, the streamer suggested that her return was inevitable and that the communities on X would widely cover her return:

“We always come back…🤣…😂😂😂Twitter fingers are going crazy now.”

Additionally, she shared a screenshot of Original viral post from @FearedBuckclaiming that Lin had been permanently banned from Twitch. She captioned this particular story:

“I had to frame this…I love it so much 😂😂😂”

Another post saw the streamer dressed as The Grinch, wishing her viewers a Merry Christmas.

In total, Lin has been banned a total of four times since late October 2025. Her first round of suspensions followed after a viral video resurfaced showing her with another streamer, Zoe Spencer, interacting inappropriately with Saidmember of the FaZe Clan production team, during a live broadcast.

She was suspended again after clips went viral showing her allegedly shoplifting during a live stream at a Target store.
