Jon Moxley just won the AEW Continental Championship at the end of Worlds 2025. He has now received a new name.

At AEW Worlds End 2025, Jon Moxley competed in the semi-finals of the Continental Classic tournament, where he defeated Kyle Fletcher. Later in the series, he defeated Kazuchika Okada to become the new continental champion. Mox celebrated with his fellow Death Riders after the huge victory and also cut a promo praising the fans.

Tony Khan made a shocking revelation about Jon Moxley after his huge title win at World's End 2025

Jon Moxley had an up and down year in 2025. He started the year as world champion and dominated all his opponents. However, his world title reign lasted until All In: Texas, where he lost the belt to Hangman Page. Following this, Mox had a rough few months in which he lost a few major matches to Darby Allin and Kyle O'Reilly. Moxley's Continental Classic tournament didn't get off to a good start as he lost two straight matches early on. However, he recovered to win the continental championship.

In a recent interview with The withdrawal of SI, Tony Khan revealed Mox was rather struggling at the start of the year. However, he continued to struggle.

“Jon was pretty injured early in the year,” Khan said. “He was banged up and he worked his way back without ever taking time off. He's been here all year and he's actually had healthier wrestling every week. The man is a marvel.” [H/T Si.com]

It will be interesting to see who will be the first person to challenge Moxley for the Continental Championship.
