In tonight's new episode, we see MJ confide in a longtime friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi that she increasingly feels unsupported by her husband, Tommy Feight.

Tommy refused to attend an event with her, forcing her to call him afterward to arrange a ride home.
“I just wanted to tell Tommy to pick me up,” says MJ.

“He didn't want to come today?” asks GG.
“No, but he's coming to pick me up,” says MJ.
After trying to avoid the conversation with GG's jewelry, which GG quickly picks up on, MJ shares that she used to feel sad about Tommy's actions, but she tries not to let it affect her these days.

“I'd like my significant other, you know…” MJ begins.
“Do you feel sad?” asks GG.
“There could have been a sad point, but to survive you have to turn and go somewhere else,” MJ admits.
While in a confessional, GG reveals what she thinks is really at stake.

“I think Maris is afraid of being alone. She's also very insecure, so maybe she's thinking, how is she going to find another man who loves her?”
She continues, noting that MJ's continued glow could lead to even more turbulence for the couple.

“But I'll tell you something, that girl got her work done. And every time one person in the marriage starts looking good, there's a divorce.”
As we all know, GG's comment is quite prophetic as MJ filed for divorce from Tommy in October 2025. They were married for seven years and share a 6-year-old son, Shams.
