FPL 2025/26: Bet on Bruno and go with Enzo
FPL Game Week 24 has finally arrived and, after a wild GW23 that saw Manchester United stun Arsenal, Manchester City bench Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, Bournemouth shock Liverpool and struggling West Ham thrice thrash Sunderland, the long-awaited match changes are here, writes Fantasy Premier League expert Blake Hurst. This is the turning point FPL leaders have been waiting for: those with a solid transfer plan can move forward, while others panic as form and schedules change overnight. Now is the time to target players entering hot races and ride the wave into the next phase of the season. Here are five assets worth buying before the chaos.
Rice Declan (7.4 million)
If you were to make a wildcard team today, Rice would be one of the first names. He's quietly become one of the most complete and valuable FPL options on the market – on most set pieces, capable of both scoring and creating, and posting elite DEFCON numbers at an average of 10.85 per 90. His influence continues to grow, and even with tougher matches, he always looks close to comebacks. Rice offers a steady stream of points that never depends on luck: a consistent starter, a bonus magnet and a reliable midfielder who keeps it going each week. Excellent price, well-defined role and improved form – he suits almost any team.

Morgan Rogers (7.7 million)
Morgan Rogers continues to pass the eye test and the data test. Over the last six game weeks, he has made 17 shots – among the best in his position – showing real confidence and intent in the final third. Even during Aston Villas During calmer times, Rogers finds dangerous positions and is not afraid to shoot. With the game schedule about to change, it's a good time to bring him back before everyone remembers how strong his numbers were. Villa's next run offers real offensive comeback potential, and Rogers has the tools to pull it off. It is still a little unnoticed, but those who pay attention know that the escape is coming.
Evanilson (7.0 m)
Differential this week. Form, opportunity and schedule – Evanilson ticks all the boxes. The Bournemouth striker has looked sharp of late, making 16 shots in the last six matchweeks and collecting three returns in his last four matches, against tough opposition too – Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool among them. With Antoine Semenyo leaving for Manchester City and the absence of Justin Kluivert and Marcus Tavernier, Evanilson could also find himself saddled with penalties. His 2.5% stake screams differential gold, especially ahead of a string of favorable matches starting with Wolves this week. He leads the line for an improving Bournemouth side and looks full of confidence. If you're looking for rankings or just want to get a head start, Evanilson is your differential of the week: lightly held, high upside, and ready to deliver.
Bruno Fernandes (9.5m)
When Fernandes plays the number 10 role, there are few more reliable FPL assets. He's nailed, on penalties, and capable of scoring or assisting from open play or set pieces – the definition of an all-around threat. Add in its DEFCON bonus potential, and there are countless routes to points. That of Manchester United confidence is high after the dismantling of Arsenal and Manchester City, and the next match seems tailor-made for Fernandes to flourish. When United click, Bruno invariably leads the way, dictating the tempo and making things happen. He is the heart of this team and, once again, he is heading towards “essential” territory in FPL. If you're not already over him, now is the time.
Enzo Fernández (6.7m)
Enzo Fernández remains one of the highest-scoring midfielders in the game. His underlying numbers continue to impress – 0.61 xGI per 90, second only to Haaland among expected non-penalized contributors this season. Although there is a slight risk of turnover over the next few matches due to the number of games coming up at Chelsea, even one game off should not deter investment. When Cole Palmer doesn't start, Fernandez often fills the number 10 role and takes penalties, giving him huge value for money. His technical quality and attacking involvement is improving every week under Liam Rosenior, and Chelsea's upcoming matches provide a brilliant platform for him to continue to deliver on his promise. If you're looking for sustainable, long-term value with real return potential, Enzo is your man. If you prefer Chelsea's defense, Trevoh Chalobah offers fantastic clean-sheet coverage and DEFCON potential.
