Atletico Madrid squandered 2-0, 3-2 leads to draw 3-3 against Club Brugge in their first leg match at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Julian Alvaraz opened the scoring in the eighth minute, scoring a penalty before Ademola Lookman headed his second to the far post for his third goal in five games since joining the LaLiga club.

Patrick Schik scored twice in the second half to put Bayer Leverkusen in control of their first-leg play-off with a 2-0 victory.
After struggling to find a way through in the first half, Bayer came alive for a three-minute spell in the second, with Patrick Schick grabbing both – the first with a cool finish when played through on goal and the second with a header from a corner.
