Miter bring the emblematic Ultimax ball to celebrate the 30th anniversary
Launched for the first time in 1995, the Miter Ultimax ball quickly became a decisive symbol in English football. A match on the premier League terrains throughout the 1990s, he made history as the first football to break the speed barrier of 100 MPH.
Now, 30 years later, Miter has redesigned the legendary ball, bringing it back with a modern touch.
The new Ultimax Pro 30th Anniversary ball merges classic design with advanced technology, celebrating its emblematic status while establishing a new standard for the next generation.
While the ball keeps the familiar construction with 6 panels, the classic white, blue and red color, and the logo of the undoubted crown, it has been improved with advanced characteristics. Hyperflow grooves reduce the drag and an elegant pearl finish offers a nod to traditional 30th anniversary gifts. The interior also sees improvements, with a hyperfoam cushioning now improved for cleaner strikes and even more power.
To mark the milestone, Miter launched the campaign “The Next in Line”, highlighting the new wave of football talents that exercise their family inheritance.
The campaign includes rising stars such as Raphaella Wright-Phillips, the granddaughter of the icon of Arsenal Ian Wright, Ruben Butt, son of the legend of Manchester United Nicky Butt, and Jacob Fowler, whose father is the own Robbie Fowler of Liverpool.
The trio, each in vintage 95/96 kits, embodies the link between the past and the future – just like the new Ultimax Pro itself.
