Everton, Fulham and Brighton all go to the third round

Everton, Fulham and Brighton have all reached the third round of the Carabao Cup in completeness after comfortable victories against opposition from the lower league.

Brighton beat the wrestlers of the Oxford United 6-0 championship in Kassam Stadium, with goals from Stefanos Tzimas (2), Olivier Boscagli, Brajan Gruda, Diego Gomez and Tom Watson.

Everton won a second victory in their new house, Hill Dickinson Stadium, with a 2-0 victory over the city of Mansfield League One.

After a relentless first half, Carlos Alcaraz gave the Toffees advance before Beto attracted the safe passage in the third round with a goal from the 89th minute.

Meanwhile, Fulham beat Bristol City 2-0 at Craven Cottage. Marco Silva's team saw the High-Vols in the championship via a goal from George Tanner after eight minutes before Raul Jimenez doubled his head 13 minutes later.
