The Brewers of Milwaukee were able to retreat from a deficit of 3-0 to defeat the Cubs of Chicago 8-4, giving them an advance of a match in the central NL as well as the best record of the National League.

“You know, our team feels no pressure”, ” Brewers outfall Christian Yelich said to MLB.com before the match. “We feel like nobody really expects what we are anyway.”

Despite the lack of pressure, it was not the best start for the recruit phenomenon launcher Jacob Miriorowski. He abandoned two points deserved during the first round and recorded an error which allowed the Cubs to take a 3-0 lead at the start.

“It's a long round”, Miriorowski said in an post-match interview. “Long sleeves are zero.”

Long is a bit an understatement. Miriorowski ended up throwing 40 throws in the first, which would explain why his night ended after only four rounds. However, the teammates of “The Miz” did not seem too embarrassed by the rocky beginning.

“I said to him:” It was my favorite start that you had in the big leagues, honestly “,” said Yelich. “All the cruises and” punchies “and all of this are fun and exciting, but it shows you a lot about what he did when he was sort of struck the fan on him.”

After a trembling first round, Miriorowski settled and held Chicago aimlessly until the end of the fourth round. He also managed to eliminate four additional strikers, including the Pete Crow-Armstrong stars.

“It was not too bad,” said Miriorowski. “Just continue. Just trust that the team is behind me and will help me, and they did it, so it was great. ”

“I think it revealed a lot.” said Milwaukee Pat Murphy manager after the match. “First round, we are down 3-0. He feels horrible … It's like a fighter who was falling in the first round, and he must [recuperate]… He said, at that time, “I am exhausted.” And he always gave us four and wanted to go out for a fifth. I learned a lot about him. This shows you that the kid can throw, not just launch. He will learn.

Once Miriorowski has entered a groove, the Brewers offensive came to life. Milwaukee scored four points in the third round to take a 4-3 lead, thanks in part to a double Christian Yelich. Then, during the seventh round, Yelich struck a two-point circuit to put Milwaukee in advance 8-4.

“It's a good team. It's fun when they are a good team,” said Yelich, discussing the difference between the expectations of Cubs and Brewers. “We have the impression that we play with the money from the house. They are supposed to win the division. They are supposed to have high expectations. They have half of our coach staff, they have made a lot of trades, so if they do not win division, I am sure it would be quite disappointing.”

Two other brewers struck the circuits in last night's match: the first base player Andrew Vaughn and the right champion Sal Flicel. As a team, Milwaukee ended the evening with ten strokes against three stick withdrawals. For comparison, Chicago found himself with six strokes and 14 stick withdrawals.

“For us, we are just trying to make life difficult to make them and see the rest of the league and to see what we can do,” said Yelich. “It has always been our model here.”

The Chicago Cubs will seek to take revenge tonight against the Brewers of Milwaukee while they turn to the series of three 1-1 games. With a victory, Chicago can again recover the best record in the National League. The first throw of this match is scheduled for 7:40 p.m. EDT.
