The former manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was dismissed by the Turkish club Besiktas after having crushed the conference league.

Solskjaer took the side of Istanbul in a fourth place last season.

But a 1-0 defeat at home against the Swiss side Lausanne meant that the club would not play European football this season, and the club rejected the Norwegian after the match.

Other favorites, notably Az Alkmaar, Fiorentina, Rayo Vallecano and Mainz all crossed while Strasbourg was held to win in Brondby.

In Istanbul, the English striker Nathan Butler -YEDEJI scored the only goal in the first half, while Lausanne upset Besiktas.

The home team played the second half with 10 men after defender Felix Uduokhai was sent in the 46th minute for a fault on Brandon Soppy.

The club then published a statement saying that they had held an emergency meeting.

“Our contract with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was terminated following the decision taken at the meeting of the board of directors. Our President Serdal Adali expressed his gratitude to Solskjaer for his services. ”

Solskjaer, the former boss of Manchester United, Cardiff City and Molde was hired in January of this year and carried Besiktas from sixth to fourth place in the Super Lig. His team had won his only championship match so far this season.
