Bayern Munich concluded a record agreement of 13 million pounds Sterling for the Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.

Chelsea has accepted a loan with an option to buy a transaction which includes initial loan costs of 13 million pounds Sterling (15 million euros) with additional fixed costs of 56.2 million pounds Sterling (65 million euros) and a sales clause.

The package is potentially worth 70 million pounds sterling in total, which corresponds to the evaluation of the player by Chelsea, which they signed from Villarreal two years ago for 30 million pounds sterling.

Jackson, who agreed with a contract with Bayern, received authorization from Chelsea to fly to Germany to have a medical and conclude the agreement.

The 24-year-old told Chelsea earlier this month that he wanted to consider his options during the transfer window after the club signed the strikers Joao Pedro and Liam Delap this summer.

After discussions on Friday evening, the final decision to accept Bayern's offer was made on Saturday morning. Chelsea decided to accept a purchase option instead of an obligation due to record loan costs.

Jackson scored 13 goals in 37 appearances all competitions last season, after having succeeded 17 in 44 in his first year at the club.
