Nike Link up with Sam Kerr for the very first Chelsea Star signature boot

Sam Kerr has taken another step in his illustrious career by obtaining his own signature boots.
The Chelsea and Australia striker joined Nike to launch his very first edition of the Mercurial Superfly players, a design that pays homage to his country of origin, his career and one of his largest sports idols.
The boots arrive in a light sandy base, a nod to the beaches of Australia, with flashes of Sarcelle, pink and orange which cross them to reflect the ocean, sunsets and rocky landscapes.
“The colors of the boot are what I think when I think of the house: the ocean and the sunsets of Perth,” said Kerr. “It's a reminder where I come from.”
Personal keys are dispersed throughout the design, including its “coherent” brand mantra engraved through the tattoo -shaped script rod, and subtle references to its style of play (“Forever Forward”) and its Western Australian roots (“Perth Swagger”).
The most striking detail is perhaps the daring band that reduces the toe of the boot, inspired by the unforgettable gold medal of Cathy Freeman at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. a long time like one of his heroes.
Its signature is stamped on the heel to complete the design, giving each pair the feeling of being signed personally.
Nike also deploys a wider collection to go with the boot. A general sneaker on the ground echoes the same color palette and includes Kerr's personal messages sewn in the language and the rod, while a oversized fleece hooded is delivered in Turreur and presents sentences related to his career – “Be who I am, be who are”, “Golden in 2017”, “You never know”.
For a player who has been at the top of the female game for more than a decade, he feels a long time. But with such a personal, dynamic and symbolic conception, it is clear that the expectation has only made the end result much softer.
