Connor McDavid's wife Lauren offers Leon Draisaitl, Celeste, a special friendship ring to celebrate their friendship from high school

Earlier this weekend, Captain of Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavidLauren Kyle's wife offered a special jewel to her longtime friend Celeste Desjardins, wife of Leon Draisaitl.

Lauren posted a short on her Instagram on Sunday showing the two friends exchanging matching rings. They slipped the rings on their pink fingers before shaking these fingers together in a soft gesture. A note in the clip reads “Friendship Rings” followed by an emoji with a white heart.

In legend, Lauren wrote:

“Friends do not copy, they match ✨.”

Celeste took the posts of the post to share her excitement. She wrote:

“The most special gift.”

Lauren Kyle and Celeste Desjardins were close friends since their high school days in Sudbury, Ontario. Earlier this year in an interview with Forbes, Lauren shared that she was she who originally presented Celeste to her teammate of her husband Leon Draisaitl.

Earlier this month, Leon Draisaitl and the actress Celeste Desjardins married a picturesque wedding at Les Baux-de-Provence. After the ceremony, the newlyweds joined Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle for a celebration getaway in Saint-Tropez.

Last weekend, Celeste took a look at fans on their French holidays by publishing a Photo and clip carousel on his Instagram. The first click showed Celeste in a chic dark brown dress with sunglasses and a pouch, while another slide captured her dancing during an outdoor party.

“Back ticket, please!” Celeste joked in legend.

Another slide included a toast alongside Lauren and a friend, each raising a glass of pink cocktails.

The pair also posed together in a seaside restaurant with Lauren wearing a striking and pink striped dress and celeste in its brown look. A close -up of their table displayed wine glasses, plates and a woven straw bag.

Celeste also shared a frank clip dancing with Leon during a beach celebration on her stories, adding the legend:

“Dancing with my husband in the south of France.”

The carousel continued with a boat trip through the Mediterranean before closing on a sweet moment of Leon leaning over Celeste at a lunch table as they smiled together.
