Pep Guardiola makes Ted Lasso comparisons with a new daring look

PEP Guodiola changed his style – and Manchester City Fans love the new energy “Ted Lasso”.

While the city is preparing for a brief pre-season, Guardiola was seen by visiting the Monarka clinic in Barcelona, known for its peak recovery treatments. But it was not the clinic that drew everyone's attention – it was the new shaved face of Pep, abandoning his signature beard for a mustache.

The fresh look immediately sparked comparisons with the beloved fictitious coach of Jason Sudeikis of “Ted Lasso” by Apple TV-A PEP program itself appeared.

A fan of the city joked: “Pep Guardiola now has a mustache inspired by Ted Lasso when he aims to change things after the disastrous Manchester City last season.”

Another sounded, quoting the emblematic line of Lasso: “I believe” – perfectly capturing the hope behind the new daring style of Pep and the new start.

In a sincere moment after a match between the fictitious AFC Richmond and City, Guardiola told the titular coach of Sudeikis: “Do not worry about the victories or the losses. Just help these guys to be the best version of themselves on and out of the field. This, at the end, is the most important thing.”

Lasso replied: “I could not agree more, coach.”
