The captain of the Europe team, Luke Donald, insists that his team “will be ready” for the presence of Donald Trump at the Ryder Cup and has been “assured” that their confrontation with the United States will go well.

“We will have a unified approach among players, caddies, wives, everything,” said Donald. “Obviously, the PGA of America has told us, it is a large amount of police will be there. They also have their protocols in place.
