Kim opened up about the end of her six-year marriage to Kanye Westcalls it “toxic”, in her conversation with Alex.
“There were just a lot of things I wasn't going to deal with,” she said.
“I didn't like the feeling of someone talking bad about my children, grandmother, aunts … all those feelings.”
The reality star revealed that the “last straw” came when the rapper allegedly gave her away five Lamborghinis, “when he was in an episode,” leaving her feeling “emotionally and financially unsafe.”
“You never know what you're going to get when you wake up, and that's a really unsettling feeling,” Kim told host Alex Cooper.
She admitted that the uncertainty in her day-to-day life with Kanye eventually took a toll on her well-being, saying the relationship left her “on edge” and questioned her own sense of security.
Kim also reflected on the challenges of navigating a high-profile marriage under constant public scrutiny.
Despite their ups and downs, she acknowledged the complexity of their relationship, noting that while love was once there, the instability and unpredictability eventually made it impossible to continue.
The star also touched on the practical challenges of separating her life and finances while co-parenting her four children, North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West.
She revealed that although the divorce was difficult, it was also necessary for her to regain a sense of security and stability.
And after the split, the 44-year-old spoke about how it all worked out in the end.
“Some of my biggest projects came after I made that decision,” she said.
“It was the universe that rewarded me and showed me that I was moving in the right direction.
“And I think it's a really important, powerful thing to pay attention to the signs and pay attention to life and what's going on and how you can be guided to make really good decisions, but I have no regrets.”
