Nine Premier League players are on the shortlist of players nominated for this year's Golden Boy Award, which recognizes the most impressive players under the age of 21.

Lamine Yamal received the award in 2024 after establishing himself in the Barcelona side and helping Spain win the European Championship.

The teenager then enjoyed a treble-winning season with the Catalan club last term and finished second in the last Ballon d'Or, losing to Paris Saint-Germain's Ousmane Dembélé.

This year, Englishman Myles Lewis-Skelly is on the 20-man list, alongside his Arsenal teammate Ethan Nwaneri.

Estevao and Chelsea's Jorrel Hato also make the list, while there are also places for Manchester United's Leny Yoro, Manchester City's Nico O'Reilly and Tottenham duo Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall.

Jobe Bellingham, younger brother of Jude, and Giovanni Leon of Liverpool are among the five wild cards.

But while the Premier League is well represented on this year's Golden Boy list, it appears another PSG star, Désiré Doué, is the favorite to win the trophy.

Doué played a key role in the club's trophy-laden season last term, scoring twice in the final as the Parisians beat Inter Milan 5-0 to win the Champions League for the first time ever.
