All signs point to Mr. Fantasy actually being KJ Apaan earlier one Riverdale star who really confuses us with his apparent alter ego.
While the 28-year-old has yet to confirm (which honestly makes this whole thing a whole lot weirder), the clues are piling up.

Is KJ Apa actually Mr. Fantasy?
All signs point to yes. Fans have gleaned clues from his social media activity, references in his music, and similarities in style and aesthetics that align with KJ Apa's well-known work.
It is also quite clear that the couple looks identical, except for KJ Apa in fact has some doppelgänger milking in all this, but again, very unlikely.
The most obvious giveaway is the identical tattoo on his left shoulder, which can be seen in most of Mr. Fantasy's social videos.
Of course, Mr. Fantasy has a gap-toothed smile, unlike KJ Apa, but fans are convinced that it is a set of false teeth.
While neither KJ nor Mr. Fantasy has confirmed it outright, the evidence is piling up, and frankly, it makes the whole thing even more exciting (and bizarre) for fans.

If this is in fact KJ Appa, we have to wonder why a Hollywood actor moonlights as an internet musician in a wig.

Perhaps he took inspiration from Margaret Qualley, who created an Instagram profile for Lace Manhattan, her pop star character Honey Don't do it.
Another theory? He simply exercises his free will in a very different way.
Either way, we're intrigued. A new song has just dropped, filled with catchy hooks and mysterious lyrics, leaving fans desperate to decipher what's going on.
Did Mr. Imagine a song released?
Surprise, the song is called Mr. Fantasy and was deposited on September 2, 2025.
Within days, the track rocketed to the top of Spotify's Viral 50 chart both in the US and worldwide.
The funky, '80s-inspired anthem came alongside a multi-part music video teaser on TikTok.
“The wait is over,” he captioned the post. “Here's part 1 of my very first video for my debut single, 'Mr. Fantasy' I love you all. The adventure has only just begun…much more to come!!!”
He followed up with part 2, “I have been watching you all very closely and I love the videos,” he wrote.
“This song is so special to me. It marks the beginning of our journey together.”
