Who is Dove Cameron dating?
Dove Cameron is currently dating Maneskin frontman Damiano David.
Although it seems like the coupling came out of the blue, fans of both Damiano and Dove have been keeping a close eye on the couple's relationship rumors since Damiano revealed that Dove was the most famous person in his DMs during a December 2022 interview with Vanity Fair.
Speaking about their early relationship in June 2024, Dove revealed Cosmopolitan, “The first time we met was at the 2022 VMAs and his band and I were up for the same award. You just run into different artists backstage and when I met them, I don't think I even talked to Damiano.”
Taking home the win in the Best New Artist category, Dove shared that Damiano's team later approached her to open for Maneskin on tour, however, the pair won't cross paths again until the 2023 VMAs.
“When we met before, he was in a very different space and so was I, so we didn't register with each other that way at all,” Dove said, adding that Damiano later invited her to attend the band's afterparty.
“He's a Capricorn, so he was very like, 'Okay, these are my intentions.' It was super honorable. He is like a gentleman from the 1950s.”
How did Dove Cameron meet her boyfriend?
While neither Dove nor Damiano have revealed exactly when they first began their romance, rumors began to circulate among fans after Dove was spotted at a Maneskin show in September 2023, with the singer posting a video of Damiano to her Instagram stories.
The Descendants Star was then spotted attending another Maneskin gig in October, with Damiano and Dove photographed attending the band's after party together.
In November 2023, Dove traveled to Brazil with Damiano and was photographed by fans in the audience at Maneskin's South American shows. The pair were also photographed leaving their hotel in São Paolo together before heading out for a romantic lunch on the coast.
After many months of speculation, Damiano and Dove finally appeared to confirm their romance during Maneskin's Australian tour, with the duo photographed kissing on Sydney's Bondi Beach before sharing an affectionate walk along the water.
After taking a step back from the spotlight at the start of 2024, Dove and Damiano let fans know about their new relationship on February 4, 2024, when they debuted their romance on the red carpet of the 66th Grammy Awards.
In May 2024, the couple debuted their rock 'n' roll romance at their first Met Gala, where the pair both wore custom floral-inspired looks designed by Glenn Martens for Diesel.

While neither Dove nor Damiano have confirmed their engagement, TMZ shared a photo of Dove with a *huge* rock on her wedding finger.
The couple walked arm in arm with the ring on full display in Sydney.
Dove recently posted on Instagram for their two-year anniversary on October 9, 2025, calling the relationship “the 2 best years of [her] life.”
“I am brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it. I love you in a way that no words can ever express, but I will never stop trying. buon anniversario amore mio.”
