Louis Tomlinson’s sisters address how much money he gives them
Louis Tomlinson's 21-year-old twin sisters, Phoebe and Daisy Tomlinson, have hit back at claims that their famous brother is bankrolling their lifestyle.
Appeared on her podcast Tea with the twinscalled the sisters the assumption that the One Direction band member bought their houses and cars “absolutely bogus.”
The twins are the daughters of Louis' late mother Johannah Poulston.
“This is probably the most common assumption, not just the mortgage thing, but the money thing around our brother,” Daisy began.
“And I'm very happy to set this straight that we personally don't get any financial benefit from our brother, in terms of, like, daily life, cars, houses, things like that.”
Daisy continued, “Even, like emergency situations, he would be so generous. Everything we have we bought for ourselves. 100%.”
The twins acknowledged that Louis can be generous with gifts on birthdays, Christmas or in emergencies, but does not cover their daily expenses.
Both Phoebe and Daisy insist that everything they have they earned themselves, including their first cars and houses.
“We bought our first car ourselves,” added Phoebe. “Homes of course, no help.
“So yes, that's completely false. But very easy to assume – a lot of people say that.”
The pair have built substantial followings of their own (they each have around 1.1 million Instagram followers) and earn money through influencer deals and brand partnerships with companies such as Boux Avenue and Boohoo.
The twins also rose to prominence in part due to their family connection, after appearing in Louis' 2023 documentary All those voices.
Some critics argue that her fame is linked to her brother's profile, a point that echoed in social media debates after her podcast comments were shared online.
Still, Phoebe and Daisy say their careers and financial independence are the result of their own work.
