NBA Deadline trade deal for Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards

THE Dallas Mavericks reportedly finalized a blockbuster deal by sending Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards.

In exchange, Dallas is expected to acquire a large group including Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham and Marvin Bagley III, ESPN sources said.

The Mavericks will also receive significant draft capital, landing two first-round selections as well as three second-round picks.

Washington's goal goes beyond just Davis. As part of the eight-player multi-team trade, the Wizards also added Jaden Hardy, D'Angelo Russell and Dante Exum.
