Arsenal v Wigan – Lineups, stats and preview for FA Cup clash
Arsenal vs Wigan Match Preview
Arsenal to welcome Wigan at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as the teams meet again in the FA Cupmore than a decade after their memorable 2013-14 final clash.
The Gunners started this year's campaign comfortably, beating Portsmouth 4-1 in the third round, while struggling Wigan in League One earned their place with a 1-0 win over Preston North End.
Arsenal remain the most successful club in the competition with 14 titles, but have not gone beyond that since winning the trophy in 2020.
Their attention now turns to Wembley ambitions after a 1-1 Premier League draw against Brentford tightened the title race slightly.
Wigan arrive as obvious underdogs but will draw confidence from their cup exploits. Harrison Bettoni's goal secured victory for Preston, and they also won the previous rounds via penalties.
