Megan Thee Stallion Talks Lover Girl Era With Klay Thompson
Megan Thee Stallion is happily in love with her husband, her husband, her baby, her baby Clay Thompson and now she's sharing the deets on how he came into her life.
Fresh off of pulling out all the stops for his “Klay Day,” including a surprise Bone Thugs In Harmony performance at a private party, your Hot Girl coach gushed about how her love with Thompson came at the right time.
“I didn't even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest,” she shared PEOPLE. “I think that because I finally started to be in a better mental space about myself and my life, and I had already done a lot of work to heal myself. I had gone to therapy, I had a bunch of activities that I started to do for myself; maybe God just opened this space for me to have someone who kept me straight.”
She continued,
“This is one of the first times I've ever been just too comfortable. I'm comfortable, babe!”
Thee Stallion and Captain Klay have had no problem showing their love since they first met on the red carpet in 2025. From fun roles to family time for the holidays, they've proven they're locked in for the long haul.
Although she's happy as a clam, Meg still tells the girls not to rush things before they're really ready.
“Well, I never want to tell [anybody] to just jump into a relationship just because everybody got one, and I'm not going to tell you to just jump into a relationship because you have to,” she said. “I didn't even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest.”
