T20 World Cup: Why Markram congratulates Jansen for South Africa
Markram described Marco Jansen as a “very different” challenge for opposing teams. “[With his] left arm, [he’s] He is very tall and makes different types of deliveries, which is a great strength for him and for us,” Markram explained.
“We have a pretty established and experienced batting order. We have seen how teams attack the powerplay and it would be foolish not to try that.
“It's not always going to happen, but it's nice when it does. It's important to recognize the fact that we are on the right side of the draw.
“The ball came into play well in the second set, but the boys still needed to put in a good performance. That's the key [against New Zealand] – you have to try to keep your cool.

Mitch Santner explains how New Zealand were 'under pressure'
New Zealand captain Mitch Santner congratulated South Africa. “We were always one wicket down at every stage and the total was a little less than normal,” he lamented.
“You have to adapt throughout this tournament, playing on different wickets in India and Sri Lanka.
“We were put under pressure in the powerplay. Against good teams, the only way to slow them down is to take wickets in the powerplay. We started well but came up against a good team today.”
